Located on the first floor of Gregg House on the South 40, we are the hub of academic support at Washington University.
Our team and programs work collaboratively with University partners to provide undergraduate students key resources to enhance their academic progress.
Experience and research have shown that students who participate in academic mentoring increase their chances of succeeding in college and beyond. We offer academic mentoring programs that facilitate students’ transition into the University, support their intellectual growth and maturity, and prepare them for post-graduation academic and professional experiences. Our services are designed to mentor students, to help them develop the life-long skill of “learning how to learn,” to facilitate their ability to excel in their coursework, and to stimulate their independent thinking through persistent coaching. Our services, in effect, extend academic learning outside of the classroom and challenge students to develop the necessary skills to achieve academic success.
