MCAT Prep Program

Will set you up for success by:

Enhancing critical-thinking skills and conceptual understanding of MCAT content through weekly problem-solving group sessions.

The Learning Center’s MCAT Prep Program utilizes a group problem-solving approach, based on existing models found in our programs (Peer-Led Team Learningacademic peer mentoring, and peer coaching), to enhance critical-thinking skills and reinforce understanding of MCAT concepts. Groups are facilitated by a leader who performed very well on the most recent version of the MCAT. Leaders include current WashU medical and undergraduate students. Groups meet for 11 weekly sessions, with breaks according to the academic calendar.

In Spring 2024, the program began January 20-21 and will end April 26-27, with a pause during Spring Break.
